The Best Crispy Beef Pot Pie Recipe You Need To Make For A Family Dinner
This meal gathers the family around the dinner table for a classic dinner feel. It is warm and comforting and makes you want seconds. I created this meal out of testing my Perfect Pie Crust recipe. Because I wanted a pie crust that was buttery, flaky, and crispy even while holding creamy beef filling. I can attest this recipe satisfied my desire! My husband and I had enough leftovers to freeze for another postpartum meal.
Growing up, I disliked pot pies because they were from the freezer aisle, and not fresh. However, I have been in a pie crust-making craze. I needed to get the crust perfectly crispy and flaky, and I finally did with my recipe above. A friendly tip when making pie crusts is to double the recipe and save the other pie discs in the freezer until you are ready to make another delicious pie. This saves time and effort!
